Is Liberty Mutual Good?

What Factors Affect Liberty Mutual Home Insurance Costs?

Several factors affect your home insurance cost, including:

  • Claims history: You may receive higher home insurance rates if you’ve filed a claim within the past three to five years.
  • Property details: Having a pool or trampoline on your property could cause your home insurance rates to spike due to liability concerns.
  • Coverage needs: Your coverage needs may increase your home insurance rates. For example, you may pay more for dwelling insurance if your home has a higher value as it will cost more to repair or rebuild after an incident. Note that you can customize your coverage limits to fit your budget and needs.
  • Deductible: The lower your deductible, the higher your premium. Raising your deductible to a higher amount can help keep your rates down.
